NCC trains Master Teachers for cadetting

National Cadet Corps organized a 3 day training programme for Master Teachers who involve in cadet training at school Island wide. NCC trains more than 120,000 cadets annually in 4749 cadet platoons formed in government, semi government and private schools. Platoon Commanders are employed for most of the platoons however, rest of the platoons are being  monitored  by master teachers. On the instructions of Major General MMS Perera this training  programme was scheduled from  25 to 28 November 2019 and conducted at NCC Training Centre Rantambe under the supervision of the Commandant of the Training Center. Covering Northern  and Eastern Provinces, 466 teachers participated for the course. They were given basic training on administrative matters related to cadet training and Annual Battalion Assessment Camps of cadet platoons.
