Brigadier General Wais Waheed, Commandant of the MNDF Marine Corps and the Commanding Officer of Maldives NCC paid a call on the Director NCC Brig GS Fonseka USP psc, on 17th February 2023, at the HQ NCC.

Maj. Ahmed Atheef, Head of the Department Military Studies, Defence College and
Maj Abdul Latheef Ali Commander of the Basic Training School,Maldives attended the Call on.
The Brigadier General of the NCC Maldives sought the assistance of the NCC Sri Lanka to improve the standards of Cadeting in Maldives. Further,
the two directors discussed to tighten the relationship between two Corps through the Youth Exchange Program among SAARC countries.
