The newly constructed Colour Chamber of the National Cadet Corps was declared open on 18th February at the NCC Training Centre, Rantambe by the State Minister of Defence Hon Premitha Bandara Tennakoon.The Director National Cadet Corps Brig. GS Fonseka USP psc, Brigadier Admin and Quartering Brig. PP Vithanage, Commandant of the National Cadet Corps Training Centre, Col RM Premathilake, Senior NCC Officers and Officials from the State Ministry of Defence graced the event.
