Maj Gen (Retd) JR Kulatunga RSP ndu psc, the Director- NCC paid an official visit to Sri Lanka Police College, Kalutara on 04 September 2020. The Director and the NCC delegation were warmly welcomed by DIG SDSP Sandanayake, DIG- Training and In-service Training Range and SSP DVP Ajith Hesiri, Director- Sri Lanka Police College.           

         After the Tea Party, the NCC delegation participated in a discussion on  the progress and future planning of the Police Cadet Programme in schools. The discussion was held in a cordial environment. In addition to Director- NCC, Brigadier MA Izadeen RSP, Inspector of Training and Colonel LP Mendis, Brigadier- Training represented the NCC delegation and DIG SDSP Sandanayake, DIG Training and In- service Training Range, SSP DVP Ajith Hesiri, Director- Sri Lanka Police College, SSP Chinthaka Gunaratne, Deputy Director- In-service Training Unit and Police Cadet Wing and ASP YDSS Pinnaduwage, Assistant Director- Police Cadet represented the Police delegation. At end of the discussion, Director- NCC planted a tree and exchanged plaques in memory of the maiden visit of Director- NCC to Sri Lanka Police College, Kalutara.
