Delegation of Sri Lankan National Cadet Corps which visited the Maldives on the invitation of the Maldives National Cadet Corps under the ICEP( International Cadet Exchange Programme) entered the second day on 27 December 2023 in the Maldives. Officers and Cadets representing NCC Sri Lanka had the golden opportunity of meeting four high profiles in the Maldives on 27 and 28 December 2023.Sticking to itinerary scheduled by the host there were 03 calls on, on 27 December 2023, at 0945 they paid call on the Brig Gen Ahmed Ishan, Director General of Maldives National Cadet Corps, at 1030 hrs and Dr Ismail Shafeeu, the Minister of Education and at 1330 hrs, the Commissioner of Police. On 28 December 2023 in the morning hours, they visited the Maldivian Ministry of Defence and paid a call on Mohammed Ghassan, the Minister of Defence in the Maldives.This international exposure which is really rare and nostalgic as teenaged school students might give our cadets a vivid experience and confidence to groom as future leaders of the nation.
