Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage the Commander of the Army appreciated the service rendered to NCC by 15 senior NCOs. Among them one DI from Sri Lanka Navy and one DI from Sri Lanka Air Force were privileged to earn the Commander’s Certificate of Appreciation (Udhahamudhapathi Pranama Sahathikaya) at Army Headquarters, on 08th March.
These Tri-Forces DIs have done an impeccable service by training the NCC Officers and Cadets of the President’s Colours and Corps Colours Parade which was held at the NCC Training Centre, Rantambe on 19th February.
Hon President, State Minister of Defence, Secretary Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of Tri-Forces and a number of VVIPS graced this grand event making a landmark in the NCC history.
